I had an offer on:

LanPC.com

I am having trouble coming up with my counteroffer. Therefore a view appraisals would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some brief google search #'s:

Lan PC= 7,310,000
"Lan PC"= 291,000
LanPC= 914

Also LanPC.net is taken.

I was planning on using the domain myself, but if I can get the right price for it I might sell it. I just do not have any idea on it's value. Please help.

Good search results, useful for a lot of businesses because its very short.

reseller : $200 - $400
end user : $1K+

End user is likely to be a business so shoot high, you'll get other offers.

Thanks for the two responses. I know that I am atleast in the right range. Since I myself am a possible end user of the domain, I feel that my counteroffer I just submitted is fair and good.

I have the domain parked at Sedo and that is where the offer came from. I just counterofferd $3333, which means that the 10% Sedo fee would leave me $3000.

The two previous responses assured me that this is neither too high nor too low. Although I am welcome to future responses or opinions concerning the domain LanPC.com.

This is a problem I come across often. I own an internet holding corporation. So I own several sites and have several business plans in development. I buy up domains that only fit my business plans, but will sell them if it makes good business sense. I just have a tough time placing value on domains I get offers on. I assume that there is no simple method, so a forum like this is beneficial.
