I think somewhere in the xx range. If you'd developed this and had good traffic around 3-6 months ago, then it would be more tempting to a potential buyer. Halo 2 is almost out now, so the earning capacity of the site has decreased to the buyer, meaning they will pay less. I'll say $40-60.

undeveloped, probably even less than $XX given by lukeeales.

Who is going to type halo-2.com on the search bar? They can have 2,000,000 searches per second, it wouldn't matter.

If you want to get to the top of SERPs you gotta get backlinks. Then it's a different story.

umm well definetly not 20,000 ... overture says 1029 last month for halo 2.com searches, so divide that by 30 for the daily average = about 34. and to tell you the truth not sure how many are typing in halo-2.com versus halo 2.com

well when the searches are for the domain with extension ... then it makes sense that if people are searching for 'halo-2.com' then they are also typing it in their browser.

no...
the '-' is removed in OVT...
they are searching for halo2

in either case, even if that was not the case, which it is, it still doesnt have a direct proportional equation to OVT=type ins.

i agree with you on this domain (search for halo 2.com - '-' removed in ovt), but to say there is no correlation would not be correct. granted nobody knows the exact equation but if people are searching for the phrase 'piesandcakes.com' then then same amount if not more are surely typing in 'piesandcakes.com' directly into their browsers.

I am sorry. My time is valuable :-)
I offered advice.
I am telling you the '-' is removed, and when you learn to use it correctly you will see it gets a total of 6 searches per month as 'halo-2'., Now, divide that by 30...
And yes, you can find eventually, If you 'seek' enough the relation of OVT to type ins, although it is never scientifically accurate, it is a good indicator.
Anyhow, I wish the domain owner all the best!

There is no possibility of a trademark violation by using the name halo-2.com?

I do see halo-3.com and halo-4.com developed, but they are for sites steered away from the video game.

There may be trademark issues, considering the game is a Microsoft production. Really depends on how the site is developed though, I would think. Have there been any issues with MS when it comes to fan sites?
