Noticing the emall characters buying lots of fresh regs lately - last six months or so. Same with a few others on the forum including Adam snapping up fresh domains.

For those haven't noticed .ca is about to cross 900,000 total regs.

Would be interested to know if ashtrays is getting any traffic?

What does that tell you when top industry players in .ca are still fresh regging - the potential is there and the future is good.

Have noticed a nice increase in traffic to my .ca's this September, we are into the internet season!

regged recently:

gayblog

had some search count, plus it's taken in all other extensions.

also got: wealthmanagementservices

a long one but there's a growing industry for wealth management in Canada due to retiring, rich boomers.

Got more on my wanted list but hard to reg them all.

Recent hand reg...mineralmakeup.ca. Nice OVT
124960 make up
31383 mac make up
19879 mineral make up
17746 eye make up
17134 permanent make up
15455 make up tip

nice hand regs there!

Do you see any traffic on names with high overture?

Hi Michael. Ashtrays.ca has some traffic but it is less than 20 days old. Still, I have made over $5 on it. I just registered mineralmakeup.ca so let's see on that one. Last month, OVT for that one was only 17,000; this month is over 19,000. I see it only increasing.

Wallace, that's great!
I wonder if there's any way to predict typein traffic on these generic names from overture (without extension).
For example if you know that on the .com version of the domain there are 200 typein visitors per day, does it make sense to assume the .ca should have a few visitors per day?

There are still plenty of great one word domains left, I think some of the should have traffic too

I don't know of anyway to predict traffic. I kind of go by feel and intuition which may not work for everyone. Right now, I am focusing on physical product registrations and getting away from adjectives and verbs. There is more of a chance of type ins for physical products that people can ship and sell online. My two cents...

Where are you getting Overture scores from, I thought Overture was dead?
