DNF News Happy Monday: Huge Updates on DNForum

Happy Monday!

You might have noticed some differences in DNForum. We have decided to tweak the themes slightly.
1. One of our members brought it to our attention that the yellow color we were using was inferior for people with colorblindness. So, we decided to change the yellow to a darker gold-ish color. I would say the forum is getting more chocolate-ier now .
Note: The email's colors will be updated once all the emails reach your inbox. There was a bug regarding the email, and now, it is fixed! So all the emails are going out right now!

2. Now, the flag belonging to your country appears near your profile.

3. The forum screen size now. So, it's much easier to read. We will accommodate many more features as time goes on. For example, we are putting up new posts on the front page rather than the forum list. All the changes will be done transparently.

4. We have some really good plugins for the site coming in. So stay tuned!

Just today... We (@Helmuts and I) updated the site a little bit. I will also put up the Forum Friends (your design) as soon as possible. It has been delayed too much!

I'm familiar with that setting and coincidentally was considering it last week, I have seen that on some other forums.

I am not seeing that live on DFForum yet

I would love to see that becomes a feature on Xenforo to make it user selectable.

One of the things that needs doing is that some of the out of date skins need to be removed, there are a lot of broken components there and it makes for a sub par experience on those skins.

Always offer your best experience to members and focus on 1-2 skins that reflect all your latest features and deactivate the rest.

Your identity should be instantly recognizable and watering it down with old skins may take away from the experience.
