Offcourse its worth the reg fee. lol I think it would be great site for new year planning. Perhaps some agency that sells or plans New Year cruises, parties and stuff could use it. Its seasonal, which is not too good and in use just few days a year, but people start planing their last night far before the 31 of dec, and lots of them even spend magnifficent amounts of money for it. Good pick!

Right. No seasonal name is too seasonal.
What would be the worst search in November?
I think "Halloween" and this had almost 200K searches in
that month. "Halloween Idea" (my name is HalloweenIdea.com)
had 561 searches, having the top in October with 40K.

I appreciate your sincere conviction in .com's might CoolH. I myself fully appreciate .com's unquestionable strength not only for now but also the near future. However, I'm not a believer in permanency of "status quo" of any thing let alone the tech sector, especially internet. I rather quit domaining than reg. a name like "NewYearInfo.com"....I guess that's just me...

Fair enough! It's a healthy debate, no question. Personally, I'd rather quit domaining than register a name like "NewYear.INFO" WITHOUT having already secured "NewYearInfo.com". I'm sure that's just me. Any others? Happy New Year

I'm with you on that Heat. Appending a .com suffix on every name no matter what suggests to me a brain that is a couple of quarts low on antifreeze. Things are changing. Put an electric blanket on that radiator and get the fluid flowing again!

Host's reasoning reminds me of Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Kids always find it hilarious to see where the blindfolded player winds up sticking the tail! This looks the same to me - I'm gonna stick this damn tail on that animal somewhere, whether it belongs there or not!

Here's a nice profit-making idea CoolH:

You see I’ve sold the following .INFO names in last few months (I’d include sale prices since the buyers didn’t ask me to keep them confidential)

Bibliography.info ($5200.00)
Bahai.info ($1200.00)
Compra.info ($1000.00)
LowerManhattan.info ($1500.00)
Electrochemistry.info ($1800.00; in escrow)

Now all of the above names, except one, are available in the form you suggest; i.e. Bibliographyinfo.com; Bahaiinfo.com, etc. etc. So, you may wana reg these and offer it to the buyers who now have only the .INFO version and see if you can convince them with your persuasive argument of the utmost need to have the elongated .com version of the names as well.

Not sure how you plan to make money on that Host. If those .info buyers wanted the Frankenstein names with the .coms appended to their necks, why wouldn't they just have taken them while they are available for a reg fee rather than wait for you to bring them to them at a higher price?

I don't feel that way at all Host. Have found you to be a very reasonable person to have mild disagreements with.
