I purchased a name from someone today and I'm trying to get it put in my name its sooooo frustrating. It was registered at speednames.com and they have this long paper process to change ownership. People in here say just change registrars. I tryed to transfer it to my account at godaddy but it says the registration information must match my information in my godaddy account. The whois information is all the previous owners so how will that work? Does he need his own account at godaddy to transfer it to?

The current owner/seller needs to transfer the name to GoDaddy under his/her name (he/she may have to open a new account; its free) and then transfer the ownership to you once its there at GoDaddy.
