Has Facebook become the new source of revenue?

I've noticed recently a HUGE boost in "fan" pages on Facebook. While I don't mind most of them I've noticed a few that are fans of popular merchants. Normally, I don't have an issue with this but some are getting sneaky.

They'll find a good deal though that merchant and post their own affiliate code with the items as news from the fan page.

I wonder how much $$$ this brings in? Maybe I should try that with a generic fan page?

Well some people get money from ads from their fan group thingy or they sell their group (i mean not like popular merchant) etc.
Iuno how much they make. I'm thinking of making one for my site soon once it's done
