Hi Everyone,
I am new to this industry and glad to become a member of DNF! I see the Internet as an amazing force of technology that has changed the world and the way so many people live and do business. Domain names feel to me like that currency of unique global identity that helps give us a “human connection” to it all. Imagine an Internet with no domain names and a world full of nothing but IP addresses! Names are important to humans. We all have one! In this way domain names seem to me to make the raw technology of the Internet more personal and appealing. This is my understanding why they can have so much value.
Anyhow, I can’t think of a more exciting forum or community to be getting involved in than with all of you folks here at DNF! Special thanks to Adam for creating it, to all of the Sherpas who are willing to guide us newbies and beginners, and to all of you.
