Welcome! Was just there in April. Stayed on the strip, but took our son to the Hoover Dam and the new Skywalk on the Western Rim of the Grand Canyon. Long day, but worth the trip to drive through the Joshua tree forest (27 miles of dirt road) on the Hualapai reservation, to get to the Western Rim and the Skywalk 3 weeks after opening, and best of all, seeing Guano Point, with a 270 degree view of the grand canyon... and no guard rail anywhere. Scary! but a beautiful sunset. But I know that's not why people go to Vegas.
(Have a few Vegas names if you ever want to broker them.)
