Ok I have a super short and excellent name but in .info and .biz

How accurate is www.whoisdatabase.com? they say i can register them both now. But i check other sites and they say its not available, but every where i check there is no whois information on them at all. If they are not available why is there no info? And is there any places to register a domain for 8.25 or less:laugh: thats all i have in my bank account

Ok im getting excited now this name is sooo good but i cant believe its not taken. I think i should calm down. The whois.info site says there is no record in the database and it might be available for registration

Hi Eddie ~ If it is a two letter .info it may appear available in certain Whois databases; but the minimum character length for a .info is three.

Syd.

It looks as if we were thinking along the same lines George!

what about a biz 2 letter?

.biz ~ the same, three minimum.

oh well i had fun you'll have to guess what the name is if your interested. hehe

if you try to register (or simply check availability) of a two character domain using an OpenSRS reseller, you'll get the following error message:
Invalid domain syntax (aa.biz:Domain name too short. Must be at least 7 characters including the ".biz")

Ah, come on! If its not available, why not tell? I had the same experience. Many whois websites give inaccurate "Available of Registration!" information for different reasons. There was a whole thread on this.

Names showing as available when they really are not.

Lemme guess, you thought EZ.BIZ or MY.BIZ was available? :)

Best,

you should have saw how excited i was when i managed to register net.biz

You're kidding me, did you just register that ( the Whois records are still wonky )?

I can't believe I was thumbing through three-letter .BIZ the other day and didn't come across that. Here I am all happy with WIZ.nu when I could have gotten NET.BIZ.

Ug.

Good one, d.
