Hey everyone,
I really need some help. I have created a trade website listing joiners, builders, plumbers and so on.
I have been hitting social media to promote it and emailing trades men direct.

Just wondering if theres an easier way to do this.

What's peoples experience of this side of things? is there any programmes? lists?

Any help or advice is appreciated

My recent experience with lists: No. I bought a list instead of building my own. After 4 working hours, I still didn't receive my list, so I called the company at their toll free number. Every extension went to voice mail. I tried over and over to reach them. Mind you, they made me take a picture of my credit card covering everything except the last 4 as a 1 time verification process. I thought nothing of it, since some places do the same. It wasn't until after my 3rd attempt to call them, when I did a Google on their company. They have plenty of RipOffReports.

That's when I immediately cancelled my card, halting my operations for 2-3 weeks until I get a new one issued. (Future will have 2 cards linked to 2 different accounts, so I can swap between 2 and cancel 1 if need be and still be a float.)

Go out there and create your list one by one. Make a connection with each vendor where they want to hear more. Just ensure that you're following the CAN-SPAM Act if targeting US companies.

There is no easy way to do anything, work is always hard and frustrating if you’re doing it right.

If you’re using Social Media as a medium for specialists, I recommend using LinkedIn as your #1 source.

Can't you just visit yell.com and do it area by area, thats unless its just going to be another spam type site, with listings from business data dvd's, which you can get anywhere, serps is full of them type of sites.
