Wanted: Service Help on smarter scripts search script

I have this script installed on a couple of sites, but can't get them working completely right and I need to install it on several more. I worked on one this AM, but there is some gaps in my knowledge or their instructions. I think I'm pretty close to finishing up the install at least by their directions. I would really like to learn this to get my engines going. Thanks in advance.

Nobody on this? The script is loaded, and permissions are set, I and the instructions seems to be missing one small(maybe two) steps. No help?
