I came across this site when, out of curiosity, I put 'longest domain name' into Google. I don't suppose it's a name anyone is ever going to put into the address bar, let alone the search engine box:

Probably, depending on traffic. Maybe some with the Adsense and the other ads on the left. And then with the Sponsor section on the right, they might be selling ad space/links for who knows how much.

I actually think it's quite an attractive site to look at, though I think younger people might find it a bit staid. But it does the job it sets out to do, and I think it's a great idea for developing the name.

Great to be starting your daughter off early. How old is she?

She's ten. It's weird: she understands the concepts of generic & type-in domains and I haven't actively educated her about the domain industry yet. She figured out on her own how certain domains would make better domains than others while telling me all the logics. ( Although the purchase above was because I thought it was hilarious). And I am wondering if a ten year old can "get it" then why can't the rest of the world? lol.

Unfortunately, she doesn't seem to be interested too much in actual web design/development. Her interests align more with literary art and art itself. Matter of fact, we are putting some of her artwork & stories online.

One of her flip flop interests is now "game development" and I have tried to explain that she needs to study a bit before taking that on LOL.

You might not have taught her actively, but absorbing it the way she has will mean it's so much more natural to her. It's lovely that she is into writing, too. So many kids today are brilliant at the mechanical stuff but the creative side passes them by, which I think is a real shame. Computers will get more advanced, and it's good to learn to work with them. But computers will never be able to create stories for humans to enjoy.
