Considering all the unlawful, unprosecuted criminal activities this industry has been plagued with, this is not reassuring:

  • Creation of a “Big Data” source of highly valuable data with potential for misuse if not properly audited and maintained.
  • Increased risk of insider abuse and external attack, requiring greater attention to security policy implementation, enforcement and auditing.

In medical lingo, ARDS stands for Adult (or Acute) Respiratory Distress Syndrome. These proposed changes take your breath away.

Exactly, Gerry. It's all about the 'big data' and the big bucks that comes with it.

Controlling who, where, how much and how often one peruses the information isn't exactly for the good of the general public.

It also seems to create a massive money vacuum to set such a system up let alone maintain such a system...money that will ultimately be passed on to the domainer.
