Are there any countries better than the US to live in that don't tax the hell out of you?

The British Virgin Islands just abolished their local 15% corporate tax and all companies are now income tax free:

Iceland is not bad actually if you are non-resident; corporate tax is 18% (to be lowered to 15% after 2007) with a 10% net interest tax on savings:

The International Trading Company has a 5% corporate rate with no interest tax.

The secret is very simple. In fact it's printed right on the 1040 form. Just look at the first couple of questions:

Are you blind?
Are you over 65?
Are you married?

Do what I did. I took the hint from the IRS.

Marry a blind, 66 year-old woman.

There's a trick to it though, since they have an advanced fraud detection mechanism. Miss the "blind" check-box by about a half inch or so.
