Welcome Trek!

I won't venture any dollar amounts, but personally I like the potential for Homeopath.com, InvestmentPlanners.com and perhaps KidsRock.com. Perhaps some of the other more-experienced folks here will venture a dollar amount. Not a booming domain name market at this time.

I really like your DNForum name -- is it from sport, brand of bike, scifi show, or other? :)

You have some excellent names. Wonderful potential for development on many of these!

The domain market is at a low now, but I will throw out some guestimates on a few, for domain value only.

Curios.com $5,000
Draftsmen.com $2,500
EscortService.com $15,000++3 (Wow!)
FishingSupply.com $2,000
Geriatric.com $3,000
InvestmentPlanners.com $5,000
KidsRock.com $300

MMM.

CandyAss.com is a great name for an adult site.

Let me know if you're interested in selling it and if you have
a fair price in mind.

Thanks,
Luc L.

Hi Trek, Welcome to this excellent board.

I looked at your entire list at http://www.nowmedia.com/list.htm (htm not html)

and was impressed by many names and also a few of the developed websites. One of the better name portfolios I have seen.

Just curious if all the names are your own, how long ago you reg'd the better ones and did you get them for reg fees or perhaps buy many on the resale market?

Judging by the quality of your portfolio I assume your better domains were originally reg'd in the mid 90's, possibly 1996 to as late as 1997 or so, right? Also wondering what prices you expect? Thanks.

Thanks to all of you that have responded to my original post. I appreciate the feedback.
To answer some of your questions:
- I began registering names in May /97. This was when Network Solutions was the only registrar in town and they charged $35. / yr with a manditory two year term ($70.) Needless to say I soon had an annual registration bill close to the same $ figure as my house mortgage.
- we've sold approx 40 - 50 names, many in the 1999 period when they were 'very' highly regarded and priced. We also have approx 10 -15 names out on lease agreements.
- all of the names on our list are for sale / lease or available as a joint venture.
- please don't ask how much we want for "-.com", we don't really have the time to answer this question 20 - 40 times / day. If you are seriously interested in an address, forward us a $ figure your budget will allow and we'll get back to you. Again, please be reasonable and don't make an offer of $250. for a name. Off the top of my head I don't think we would sell any of the domains on the list for less than $750. ( we are getting traffic on all of them and with the affiliate links we're making enough to keep the names registered and a profit.)

Thanks again for the forum and best of regards.

To whois-search.

Just a note: Copywrite.com is a correct term.

You can have a copyright and you can be a copywriter.

:)

BTW Trek, All I can say is "WOW"!! You certainly have yourself the best collection I've ever seen.

All the best.

PS ... I know you wouldn't say ... "I will copywrite that ad" (or whatever), and that 'copywriter' is WAY better - but as far as domain names go and as far as people's spellings go, it's as gooderer* (lol) as some others i've seen. ;)

Also, re people's spelling, perhaps it'll get typeins meant for copyright. :)
