I think NameCheap is a good place to register domains. Not very expensive and they offer good service.

I may be in the minority here but I've had no problems with godaddy.

Coupon codes are pretty easy to find online and you can usually save a few $'s with those.

well if your going to resell any domains, dont use namecheap. if you have the $6,950 to spend, you can get an enom reseller. If you dont have that much a $100 deposit will get you a directi resellers account ($6.99 a domain) or a registerfly resellers account (which just opened today $6.50)

It may depend on what you want to do. Are you mainly interested in registering a lot of domain names, parking them, and then trying to sell them?

Are you looking for a registrar that also offers e-mail accounts and webhosting?

I was pretty pleased with 1and1.com so far, but I've never sold one from them, so I don't know how that process is.

Has anyone sold a domain hosted by 1and1.com? If so, was it through SEDO, here, or another location?

1and1 was pretty cheap at $5.95/domain

I registered my first domain ( adcontexts.com ) at GoDaddy today for $8.30 after a 10% off coupon. I like their easy transfer reputation. We'll see how that goes...
