Hi, folks. I joined last week and have already had some great help on the newbies' thread, so I wanted to introduce myself properly.

I'm from Ireland (Dublin, the capital). I don't suppose you get many lols on the forum, but I hope that you will still take me seriously. I'm going to need a lot of help sorting things out but will be very glad to give help in kind in any way I can. I'm a writer, so maybe I could check out someone's mini-site content to make sure it all reads okay? Nothing technical, though, I'm afraid. That's where I'll be needing help myself.

Thanks, VTEC! You're from Cork? I thought from your message the other day that you meant you would be travelling through Cork. I don't know why I assume that people on forums are from the States or at least further afield than Ireland. Perhaps because I meet Irish folk on them so rarely. It's lovely to be part of an Irish group, no matter how small. And perhaps there are more of us out there than those who post.
