Any major company worth its salt uses [.COM].

The only people who buy [.US] domains are the tulip traders.

iguess thats why the olympics saw value in those tulips and switced from a com address to a .US address.

That Olympic site still shows the .com address in its animated logo, though...

Although, given that they're a noncommercial organization, .org would have made more sense (though .us is logical too).
