Site History:
BuzzHumor.com has been established for over 2 ½ years now with very steady traffic. It has great link trades in place and has been fine tuned to run as efficenty as a humor site possibly can.
Custom Programming:
BuzzHumor is the product of 3 years of programming work with constant upgrades and refinements to make it completely unique and extremely efficient. Some of the highlights of BuzzHumorâs custom programming include:
CMS
* Easily add and remove content individually and in bulk (pictures, videos, soundboards, games, audio, jokes). Content can be scheduled to be added automatically based on date.
* Manage user accounts, mass email, and manage avatars.
* Generate custom reports for all content.
* Advanced traffic trading system.
* Easy to use advertisement management system.
* The ability for SFW and NSFW content to be separated. This is also true for separating ads based on SFW and NSFW content.
Backend
* Automated integration into Amazon S3 allowing for daily backups that cost a fraction of what other backup provides cost. The Amazon S3 storage can be made to deliver all media related content on the site with no impact to the site (downtime).
* Modified PHP caching system.
* Flash player customized to support lighttpd mod_flv_streaming.
Unique Website Features
* Randomly rotated video thumbnail links based on a custom tag system. This works on video and picture display pages.
* Mouseover thumbnail preview images for video links (this feature is done automatically in the backend).
* User area with plenty of features like messaging, friends list, favorites, and access to the traffic trading system.
Content
As of the time of writing BuzzHumor.com has the following content:
* Pictures 4,966
* Videos 10,238
* Games 2,788
* Jokes 536
* Soundboards 709
The partner responsible for maintaining and updating the content is open staying on for a monthly salary if the new owner is interested. Any such deal would have to be discussed directly.
Revenue Details:
The ad space has been neglected recently so the site is not earning up to its potential, however with the sheer volume of traffic the site is still making good money. The focus has been on maintaining traffic and building content so with a new owner more focused on putting better paying ads including video ads there should be no problem seeing a big revenue jump. Please note that MyPaidAds listed in the below revenue was removed from the site for December. AdSense was also removed half way through November (the site was not banned, it was just removed to try different ads in the space).

Historically just over half the visitors come from the good search engine rankings with the site and the remaining visitors come from links to the site (34%) and direct type ins (14%). Looking at the stats from the last 30 days about 65% of the traffic is coming from Search Engines with links accounting for 21% and direct traffic making up the last 14%. In the Google Analytics chart please note that analytics was removed for several months hence the 0 traffic shown for those days, the site was not down.
