I need someone good with Hivemail and WHM/Cpanel and exim to help me configure a server. Willing to pay $100 to get the server configured correctly.

If no one has helped you yet I might be able to get you some help...

tonight, leaving atm

What help do you need? I just set up a site with Hivemail that uses CPanel using the pipe method for email retreival.

Post the issue here and maybe I can just answer the question(s).

Basically, it looks like all incoming mail is getting bounced. When I look at the exim main.log, I see something like:

2005-01-08 14:36:24 H=altair.inctas.com [207.106.13.40] F=<[email protected]> rejected RCPT <[email protected]>: relay not permitted

for all incoming mail, even if the recipient is a valid email address.

This doesn't sound like a hivemail issue.

What method of mail retreival are you using? The pipe method or pop3?

If you are using pop3 have you set up your catchall mail account?
If you are using the pipe method have you set the default address to |/path/to/hivemail_process.php

If you are using the pipe method make sure you have the | at the beginning. Without it the mail will not be processed and nothing will work.

I've tried both, but right now I'm using POP3 with the cron job. It's looking more like an Exim configuration issue right now, but I not sure what is broken.

I'm no exim expert, so you might need to find someone else to help you out.
