It doesn't contain any less common letters like "z" "q" "x" which are not used as much in company acronymns...
Funny you mention these 3 letters. I have QXZ.com and have been offered a very high 3 digit amount for that a few weeks ago. Did not sell it.

I guess the market thinks it is worth $ 3,300. (present bid.)

I guess the market has been reading this thread.

It is now up to $ 5,000. with 3 hours to go.

I believe the Hemrorrhoid Knitting Club is the top bidder.

Last minute update.

The hemrorrhoid club lost in the bidding.

Modern Empire, HK, won it for $ 6,655.

So i guess 3 letter .coms are worth alot.
How much do you think the value increases every year?

I'd rather spend cash on a single word .com which will generate traffic as opposed to zero, I can understand why companies would want one though. I guess you can add 50% of the current value every year, much more if you have a great one. While the current 'hording' trend continues, it's worthwhile hanging on to them for at least a couple of years (unless you get a good offer) or until they become scarce enough to dictate the market price.

"Bad" letter combos will sell for less.
