Makes steady $140 a month PPC (6 month avg) so is probably a $5k name to a PPC buyer. Is that higher than it's use as a useful poker domain for serps development ? Texas Holdem is a huge overture term and the search engines don't care that it's Holdem Texas.

Would be interested in opinions on value as I am considering selling.

Byalik - I already know it's worth 36 months provable income because I own a lot of them and from a PPC perspective sell them for 36x. E.g recently sold Pokeruk.com for $7500. The question is not so much is it worth $5k, as am I giving it away for that given the overture numbers and development potential?

Overture "holdem texas" 136,784.

Godfather - send me a list of your domains I may be interested in buying some of them.

The days of paying only 12 months revenue (or less) for type in traffic are pretty much over. I see that many people say they buy traffic names for 10 months revenue ... yeah well i dont believe it. Not to say that you wont luck out and get a few for that, but you wont get the good ones.

Due to the revenue and the actual name i wouldnt sell for less then $5k i would be looking around mid to high x,xxx and even more for the end user.
Good luck with the sale of your domain if selling.

As the buyer of pokeruk.com I'd like to correct some errors here :-)

It was bought for $7k which also included a 2nd domain of lesser value. I will admit though that the purchase price reflected 3 year rev of both domains and I went as high as that because I liked the domain and will probably develop at some point.

Now on to the appraisal :-)

The problem with the domain is, obviously, the words are reversed. So for a keyword domain it doesn't really work. texasholdem.com would have have been a different story (and with an ovt of 2639 I'd be quoting 7 figures)

I personaly think the role of keywords in domains has been reduced so far that paying a premium for a keyword domain is getting rather pointless unless it's a good short brandable domain. If you want keywords there's plenty of domains for reg fee (eg. play-texas-holdem.info was available up until 2 secs ago )

So at the end of that I'd probably say that the domain without traffic has some value but that will be overshadowed by the PPC rev. 2years rev, up to 3 years if your lucky (I'll offer you 6 month )

Hi crouper - you're not the only buyer of my poker domains at 36x PPC income but a good example of a comparative domain (both having good keywords).

Your appraisal confirms what I thought - I wanted to be sure that letting it go for 36x isn't shooting myself in the foot.
