HostGator the best hosting?

I used to use HostGator, but wanted a bit more functionality for hacking stuff myself, and so switched to Webfaction. I don't use either much anymore, but I found Webfaction had better support and uptime than HostGator -- for a cheap-ass shared hosting plan that is.

ThePrimeHost.com is a lot better from my experience. No downtime whatsoever...
HostGator had constant downtime for me..support was good though..still like theprimehost a lot better...highly recommend them by far.

Most people recommend hostgator. I didnt use them but they are soo famous

HostGator bought out my old host many years ago, Not knowing very much about them, I was ready to switch, but I stayed and they have proven to be a great host. What I like about them the most is the 24/7 live chat support.

Been with HostGator for a year now and never had any issues with them. Great support, nice features, very reliable. Highly recommend them!
