Anyone think this domain name has promise in the adult industry? It seems to be generating a lot of interest lately and several $$$ offers as well. I may be putting it up for auction in a few days and was wondering what you all thought about it. Would it be better off to develop?

How about any valuation estimates?

Definitely has potential and would be worth developping for a video site. On the other hand, 'tube' domains seem to be in vogue right now, so it could be a good time to auction. Does it get any traffic?

The website seems to attract a lot of traffic. However, I have no solid evidence here as the website is currently forwarding to another website. The forwardee website went from an average of 40,000 hits a month to over 3 million a month when hottube.com and three other domain names began forwarding to the site (other domain names are hot-tube.com, heattape.com, and heat-tape.com). I believe the other domain names are much less desirable and popular, and in my opinion hottube.com is the main contributor to this rise in traffic. However, the website host is a small company using an archaic software system, which leaves me a bit sceptical as to the actual traffic levels.

In any case, hottube.com has been approved to be auctioned off on Sedo's premier auctions, starting tomorrow and ending on the 11th. Good luck to anyone interested.
