take the same design and "save as" another file.

ie: "page2.html"

add a link on first page to page2.html and then just edit that page with your articles

you can do the subsequent pages the same way.

Hi

i am not a developer only a novice html dude

but i would guess that you could take a page like:

http://www.guitarheroforum.com/forums/faq.php
and "save as" another file.
then edit that one as an article page.

i just guessing here, so consult an expert

there's probably something in your mod forum where you can create pages or sections.

looks similiar to dnf to me though

If you are not familiar with html, I suggest you to do something a little differently. Go and look for a program such as Wordpress which you can use to manage your articles. You can then plug in your background and header image into the program's design or template if they have one. You should be able to achieve the same result with less work.

In that case, try this. Use firefox, highlight the part you want to remove and right click and select "View Selected Source". Copy the code. This will be the part of code you want to remove later.

Then unselect the selection and do a Save As and save all the files in your local PC. You should change the default name to index.html. Open up index.html and remove the block of code that you have previously copied. Be careful not to miss any closing tags.

You should now have an empty template which you can add your own contents to.

Varchar's solution is good.

What development program are you using to accomplish this?
