How can I register a .ca?

Anyone have an idea how I can register a .ca without being a resident? I've been watching a domain for a week now and it's driving mad.

I would say forget it; there are A LOT of "good" .ca names still available. And being a Canadian myself, I'm not even half enthusiastic.

I still want the name.... I have seen virtual office space providers for EU and other locations that register the domains for you and show you with a business presence in that country. There was an example in a thread regarding .jp names.

I may have to "make a deal" with someone who lives in Canada.

One way is to set up a corporation in Canada or a Canadian Province or Territory, and then hold your .ca in the corporation. I believe that the Yukon Territory does not have director residency requirements.

Why get a .ca when you're not in Canada, does not have a corporation in Canada, or somehow simply not related to .ca? I won't be going around to register .gr if I'm not part/related to Greece. This is weird...just for the name? And that .ca is expensive to register..
