Can someone please clarify... I bid on a domain pending delete now in private auction with 8 bidders. I was (and still am the high bidder-and I think I know why...) However two days ago the domain name was renewed by owner (and this was just before Namejets private auction notification email of a private auction on this name) acccording to my info on who.is it was renewed that very same day. So my question is, there has been no further bids on this domain presumably because other bidders have checked who.is for updates. Why doesn't Namejet just cancel the auction- or are they just getting ready to whack my credit card with the high bid when the auction expires and then offer a refund to me at a much later date??:?::worried::worried:

This has happened MANY times. The auction will be canceled eventually.

Thanks for that. Hopefully they cancel before they whack.

neonoceans - any chance you will post the name? It would be interesting to see the history of this name and what state it was in before going to auction.

You could always cancel the card and get a new one sent to you

A hastle for sure, but better than tying up money for a bit
