How do I delete Private Messages?

Sorry, not quite sure where to post this. If anyone (members or admins alike) could help me out, I'd appreciate it. I haven't been on this forum in a LONG time so my PM box is completely full, but it's not showing any messages. Every time I go to "empty folder" it says there aren't any messages to delete. I can't figure out how to empty it, and the layout's changed since I was here last.

Put a check next to them and at the pulldown menu at the bottom of that page select delete.

The problem is though, that my inbox isn't showing any messages (to check and delete).

I just see:

Folder Controls
Inbox contains 0 messages.
You have 500 messages stored, of a total 500 allowed. (Empty Folder)

Jump to Folder:

Check your sent items and receipts.

I have 0 in my sent folder, and I don't seem to have any in my receipt folder (can't really find it..)

It's really weird.

I just ran a sql query to update the counters associated with your account, that should fix it.
If anybody else ever has this problem, just lmk and I'll fix it for you. I'm not sure why this happens but I do know how to fix it. Regards
