I bought a domain from someone through Escrow and no, it wasn't cheap. Cleared last Monday. I put through a transfer for it to go into my account at GoDaddy. Since then it has said the same thing ...

Pending Current Registrar Approval

So, last night I called to ask what the holdup was, and they said it's not up to them, it's up to the current registrar of the domain, which is Dotster. So, I emailed Dotster to ask why they won't release the name to me.

Their response: "As you can see the domain is unlocked and preped for transfer, everything else is done by your new registrar."

I put through the transfer request, I paid for it through my registrar, yet Dotster claims it's up to GoDaddy, but Dotser is the current registrar.

HOW do I get this domain into my account?????

I bet you will have it by Wednesday. Usually takes 5-7 days.

Then don't look at it. What I choose to do with my body is none of your business.

Thanks. Amazing what one nasty email will accomplish. It's now mine.

Now, back to my issue -- the domain is in my account -- but -- when I check the whois database, it shows my domain is for sale at Afternic for a small amount of money. It wasn't for sale when I checked on it before I bought it, I had to ask if it was for sale and they said no, but I made them an offer they could not refuse.

So, how do I get it off the "for sale" list?
