A very well known domain name broker (if he posts here, I'm not aware of it) offered 3 domains via email on his regular mailing list. The agreed price was $400 for the 3 domains and I paid it via PayPal, and he pushed the domains to me.

I noticed that I had 4 domains from him, not 3, so looked carefully, and noticed one was missing but 2 were there I did not pay for, so I emailed him and asked.

He claims it was a typo in the email originally so gave me 2 others instead.

I don't want those other 2, they don't fit into my marketing plan. I want the one I paid for. Or, I want a refund, or a choice of another domain.

He responded once, just saying it was a typo, and ignored my last 3 emails. I've told him each time I either want a refund, a choice of another domain name, or I will dispute it with PayPal.

He's still not responding.

Other than the PayPal dispute route, what recourse do I have to get my domain name? The one I want is not owned by him and is not parked, just owned by someone with a Yahoo email and phony phone number. I did email to ask if they would sell it, but no one returned my email.

sounds to me like he just made an error which he should clear through a quick refund. Anyway it is just my opinion.

Keep trying to contact the broker? Go to Court?
