Hi all,

I have a couple of domain names I would like to sell.

How do I transfer ownership of the domain names once I sell them? What are the steps involved. Currently my domain
names are registered with verisign/network solutions?

I'm thinking of selling them via an online auction and would
like to know the steps involved so that I can transfer ownership
expediently.

Thanks. Peace!

First step is to transfer the domain out of netsol to another registrar, things are just too slow and complicated at netsol.

Just come to enom. :)

NetworkSolution/Verisign will allow you to transfer the domain names to other registrar, anywhere you want it. I suggest you do this 2 months before the expiration date to avoid any issue and make sure your technical and administrative email address are correct.

If you need assistance to do this, please don't hesitate to send me pm.

Let me know.

Sell the name.

Transfer is the easy part.

Domainduck must not have much experience dealing with Netsol.

I started in this Biz with NetSol... I was here when Register.com arrived and introduced one-year registrations... I cheered when Dotster arrived and the price of registration finally dropped below $35.00.

I've transferred away from NetSol, Register.com and Dotster.

Every transfer went perfectly.

Some were faster than others, but all complete - No problems.

Just my 'experience' quacking here and it says, 'transfer is the easy part.'

Starting next month, this process will change. Go to http://www.greatdomains.com to learn more.

Thanks all for the feedback.

Was considering tranferring all my DNs to GoDaddy b/4 selling them. Any thoughts?

Only if they are great names.

If they names are drop candidates, why add the extra expense?
