How are we suppose to calculate / predict the deletion date of a domain? I find this impossible because I find names with DIFFERENT expiration date are dropping on the same day.

heres an example.

Status: PENDINGDELETE
Updated Date: 28-jul-2003
Creation Date: 16-may-2001
Expiration Date: 16-may-2003

Status: PENDINGDELETE
Updated Date: 28-jul-2003
Creation Date: 19-may-1993
Expiration Date: 20-may-2003

anyone has a solution?

the drop date has nothing to do with the expiry date. different registrars delete names after different time periods.

The drop date is exactly 6 days after the updated date.

Updated Date: 28-jul-2003

Aug 3 in both cases

ok then, so we cannot predict a names deletion date (with the assumption it wont be renewed). based on the whois info? The only way is that the domain is already in pending delete status?

registrant can redeem the domain within RGP.

But domain will be deleted if it enter PD.
Unless something fishy. :)
