Hi,

New member here ...

I’d like to know one thing that I've not been able to find in the forum yet (maybe I did not look at te right place): how does the payment and the conversion of domains take place with a sale on this forum?

If I post a domain for sale, and then someone posts an offer or buys a BIN, we agree …. then what happens? Is it exchange goods in good trust with direct payment using a payment type we agree on? Or is there some payment system?

thanks!

You arrange the payment and domain transfer on your own terms (paypal, escrow, wire, etc.).

Ideally, you call Adam up and he personally goes to the buyer's house and delivers the domain in exchange for cash. :D Canadian dollars only!

After the buyer and seller agreed on pricing. The buyer will send money to one of the Mod here and the seller can go ahead and transfer the name to the buyer.
Mod will wait for 6 months to make sure there is no problem and we will send the money to the seller less 50% commission.

John, this sounds fair. In the past you used to keep 100% plus lunch money.

lol@comments. just watch out for buyers who'll insist on paying you by western union. have had a couple.

Some other webmaster forums have a vBulletin plugin which lets people link their PP account and complete sales directly through the thread. DNF isn't like that though..Like others have said, just contact the person via private message and arrange payment/transfer. Then, leave a iTrader feedback once it's complete! :)

The issue with systems like that is that it does not really add any security to current methods plus it is a risk factor to the forum.

Would suggest a form of escrow if the value of the transaction is high.

Good luck with the trades.
