I noticed I get the runs from some energy drinks, I like the herbs in them mostly plus the sweetness. My main drink is green tea with honey and ginseng, witch normally don't give me any runs ever.

Two hand-fulls of blueberries will apparently knock out the runs. As far as I know the energy drinks have no value to the human body over the long term. Easy to enjoy the sweetness as sugar is said to be more addictive than cocaine. Energy drinks are more likely to harm than heal and should have a skull and crossbones on the label. Best drink the green tea, full of antioxidants, also juiced organic fruits and vegetables or water.
I live through my tongue, so I'll try pretty much anything at least once.
Turkish coffee is my energy drink of choice.
You used to be able to get a canned one which had something like 1600mg of natural caffeine... I drank two in a day and my nose wouldn't stop bleeding!
Failing that, the list then goes down to Lucozade (glucosamine basically), FF Potion, Niagara, Berry V, Redbull, what ever is on hand.
