I am thinking of getting cobz.net, since Cobz.com is above my budget and both are listed on godaddy auction store.

You can check godaddy valuation tool. For cobz.net, its about 200 dollars and its listed for sale for more than 300.
That should tell you its not worth it.

You dont need to guess how much a domain is worth. There are a lot of valuators on the net even for free to evaluate domain worth.

Don't. Automated appraisals are worthless and they only serve to make you feel good about your registration and perhaps register more at the place of the appraisal or pay for appraisals on other domains. Nobody has EVER bought a domain based on an automated appraisal.
