I would expect my .com to go in the mid-to-high $xx,xxx range due to being triple premium.
I bet the .net would go in the mid-to-high $x,xxx range.
I could probably afford the .org which would probably be in the low $x,xxx range.

I think you missed the point lol. Obviously you can't hand register 2 or 3 letter domains..
I have my initials on backorder but I see it as vanity license plate... I wouldn't pay much but if I could get a good deal I would definitely buy it (mostly for bragging rights).
