I use 1&1 (hosting company) for a lot of email but I noticed at times, sometimes (rarely) for days, my email accounts are not accessible, it's usually one email address that I have while all of the others are fine. For what I need now this is unacceptable.

I've been thinking of signing up for email with GoDaddy (simple plan, $10 a year) but I was wondering how often is it down and how easy is it to access it though other means (not outlook, webmail for example).

The email I'd use would be solely for domain management / registrar contact, not even in the WhoIs information.

I've been using godaddy email for a while and i haven't had a problem.
Sometimes i have issues initially setting it up, but it works perfect now.
I also set it up directly with my blackberry and it's flawless so far.

If you're asking how secure godaddy email is though...i am unsure about that.
I would like to think it is secure.
