Just see what I found: epls.pl - Is forwading allowed at Sedo? How Sedo protect us from that dirty business? Each name on Sedo can be suspected... Next time I'll be more cautious before buying traffic domain name at Sedo.

What is your experience with false traffic ?

I was scamed by Sedo on April, in the same way. I say that Sedo was involved in that scam because the same minute I did the payment I emailed them requesting them to check if the traffic was valid, but even when they told me that received my email they proceed with the payment (I know it was a lie). All this hapenned in the same business day....sounds suspicious!!?!

I dont buy domains but allways give this advice always assume traffic stats are false first, only buy names based on traffic if you have had traffic analysed by a competent individual. Most names I see couldnt possibly get the traffic advertised unless it is a expired website with residual traffic, I do beleive sedo should ban members who fudge stats

buying traffic domains at sedo is never a good idea, there are way too many domains parked there for them to check every single one..just use commen sense...some worthless 3 word .info domain is not gonna get any traffic..just email the seller through the whois, and if he doesnt respond you know its a scam...

Well, even when Sedo traffic list was full of scam and even me was scamed by them I learned about that and later I was able to filter the good domains with traffic, usually websites developed in the past, and made good money.
Many times I bought domains for $1K-$2K and sold for 3-4 times that value.
Sometimes be scamed is "good", when the money has not been so big but the lesson was extremely valuable.

Maybe they should implement proper tools to catch and ban the scammers.
