I get asked the question, “How can I get rich in domains” a lot. It’s obviously a very important question for many people and rather than give a glib answer I thought that in this blog post I’d take a crack at answering it.
The first thing that I’d like to say is that every domain needs a business model behind it that will help you focus on how you’re going to make money with it. For the rest of this blog I’m going to tackle the major different business models that can be followed.
Traffic domains
Traffic domains are great because they provide an ongoing revenue stream. The challenge has always been how to find the domains that provide traffic that also don’t have a large legal risk due to trademark infringements.
