What tools do u guys recommend to check expired domains traffic? like if i need to check a domain's traffic for the year 2018, what are the tools, sites ,and steps to follow?

Hey! You can try tools like Wayback Machine for snapshots, and SEMrush or Ahrefs for historic traffic estimates—start by entering the domain and checking their traffic timeline.

You can obtain a domain name's past organic traffic using tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, and SimilarWeb.

Below is a screenshot of the organic traffic for Google in Semrush:

If accessible, you also can check expired domain traffic with Alexa, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics.
Alexa has been closed for like 4 years already.
Ahrefs can report only organic traffic
Google Analytics can report traffic only for websites you already own and can install the tracking code.

You should ask them to share with you their Google analytics.

Settings -> Accounts -> Account settings -> Account access management -> ADD USER

I remember when Alexa was all the rage!
