Affiliate Programs How to recruit affiliates ?

Hello, I am new to this website. I recently created website marketing site which I would like to have affiliates promote my service. I am not picky on the type of sites that would promote my site as long as they do not contain adult/illegal material.
Since I am new to the affiliate program area in terms of recruiting affiliates, i am seeking some advice on how to go about this process.

I am also looking for 20-25 websites with decent traffic and pr2 minimum (some exceptions are considered) to join my site. I will offer a 1 year membership for all who are interested and meet the criteria. Also, by being a member of my site you also qualify to earn 35% commission (not sure if I can put this part in my post)from refering new members to join my site.

Simple,

Find other webmasters with big affiliate programs
(lots of affiliates).

Get them to promote your site to their list of
customers/affiliates. Give them a high % of sales
for one month, say 85%. This makes it worth their
while, and gets your program off to a fast start
through their lists.

It's called a 'Joint Venture' proposal.

If you want to recruit affiliates be sure to spent some extra money on payouts for the first time. Once you have got a few good affiliates they'll refer others and so on...
Affiliates are very valuable so it's worth to invest in them
