Hello,

I registered emailbackgrounds.co.uk on Apr 27, 2012 at GoDaddy, how come when I tried to register emailbackgrounds.uk Godaddy wont let me do it?

If you are the owner of emailbackgrounds.co.uk then you have the rights to register the .uk until June 25th. If you haven't registered it by then it'll be released for general registration.
However there should be nothing to stop you registering it now - you don't even need to have a UK address anymore. Contact godaddy and see what their problem is.
