Does it mean hyphenated names are totally useless?
 
No but that name is fairly useless. Some hyphenated names are worth money if the words follow each other sensibly like, for instance, golf-clubs.

What potential does buy-net have? Not much, hense no one got it.
 
Vanity name, broken up by a hyphen....means promotion is twice as hard....thats all..
