Holy moly $200,000 are you joking? If that eventuates then take it.
Seriously, I'd look around for ebooks on using ebay and buy the copyright to one
then develop the site for SEO and sell the ebook, or video.

3 Offers received over the weekend;

$3,600
$9,000
and $13,000+

What is a good sales price for this domain name?

Would i be foolish to sell this to video professor for $200,000, considering they are the #1 advertiser on google for this keyword / phrase, paying well over $5 for each click.. feedback from an experienced professional please..
With a reg date of sept 2008, I would of taken the last offer...

Whether it is you or the future buyer, someone is going to get a C&D letter.

Or eBay may simply seize it.

If it is you, you are out reg fee.

If it is the new buyer, they are out of $200K, the time - energy - effort and added expense to market this domain as well as other add ons.

You as the seller might be found liable and ordered to refund the $200K as well as damages.

If someone has $200K to spend on a name like this then I am guessing they have much more in their coffers to file papers to see you in court.

Don't kid yourself.

I have received two C&D's over the years from eBay simply because they have those four letters in sequence, E-B-A-Y.

Tell me what MaineBays com had to do with ebay when it was a photo journal of a kayaking trip along the coast of Maine?

Sure, you can fight them, I did. And I still have that and one other name.

Problem is, you have their name.

It is not about making money kayakingMaineBays.com it is about making money on eBay.

You have their name.

Guess what?

If you sell it, you just made money on their name.

I have heard enough free speech claims in my life to last 100 lives.

And I can guaranteed that ebay has the clout needed to pull the plug of any site with their name in it.

Perhaps you are or are not familiar with Seclists.org.

Facebook objected, complained to GoDaddy where the name was registered and hosted, and the site was taken down without any notice.

Do not give out writen permission?

Hmm...why not put it in writing if it is okay?

Did she bother to provide you with a list of disclaimers that must be included on your site?

A person's word, one member of their legal team of perhaps hundreds who would tell you something different.

If that is in fact their policy then their policy would be in writing so every one regurgitates the same policy and not open to interpretations.

Too risky to put the effort into making anything with this just to be shut down.

I wish you luck and smooth sailing.

Since you posted your comment in a thread you contributed nothing to, please justify Yourself.. Why do you find this very hard to believe?

Thanks Raider,

Have a Gnight..

Justin

Awaiting Your Intelligent Response..
---------------------------------

Well since you asked; 1) It's a brandable domain, 2)It's 6 words long and has WAY to many variations that can replace it, 3)It's a clear infringement on Ebay's Trademark and can be taken away in a heartbeat and 4)The frequency of these offers based on 1, 2 & 3 is not only hard to believe, it's laughable you would think domainers here are stupid enough to believe it.

Does that answer your question?

Looks like someone picked up HowToEarnMoneyOnEbay.com just a couple of days ago.

I think if you received a $13,000 offer for HowToMakeMoneyOnEbay.com you should take it..

If the owner of HowToEarnMoneyOnEbay is reading, maybe you should politely ask StrikeP to put you in touch with the people who made the 3.6k and 9k offers. They might be interested in your variation. :)
