BIN: $7.5k

This is a custom script written by me. I put in 600 hours from January to June. It actually went "live" last month, so it has small bugs here and there, but is all in all a stable application.

This application is built to actually host the photographers website. The script is built to register their domain of choice, create the new site on the server (IIS), setup DNS entries and email, and install the custom site applcation for the new customer. The customers site is then ready to go.

Things this application does for the photographer:
  • Allows 1-button site theme changes
  • Allows for a photography client database
  • Contains an photo appointment scheduler
  • Contains ability to create dynamic galleries for portolio, and sessions for client photo proofing
  • has the ability to neatly organize photo print orders
  • Has AWStats built in for customer
  • Has SEO options for customer
  • File Manager for uploading content for site.

The site also allows for you to add custom templates for a sepcific customer. So if "Joe Photographer" signs up and wants a custom look or template, you could charge him $300 and go find a graphics guy to whip you one up.

Tools and Technologies Used:
  • ASPJPeg to resize images
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2k5 DB
  • ASP.NET 2.0 Framework
  • Microsoft Windows 2k3 server
  • hMailServer
  • Enom Domain Reseller Account
  • eProcessingNetwork for recurring fees
  • AWStats
  • IIS 6.0
  • Microsoft DNS Server

Advertizing done: Some google syndication, some forum ads. No ads currently running at all.

I will assist by communication with you and developer long enough to get you set up. Will say 1 month assisted.
There are enhancements that would add some good features so this site that would take < 20 hours. I will share those and some other ideas I have to get the ball rolling as far as marketing and the easiest/best enhancements to try and capitalize on in the near future.

Revenue: The site has only been live about 6 weeks, and in beta 3 of those. The site currently only has 1 customer paying $19.95/mo. This is a loyal customer who gives great feedback on the site and any problems that occur.

Price: upper $X,XXX

You need to include the URL in the sales thread unless you are posting in the Exclusive section.

Edited main post; Added a BIN of $7.5k.

Also, site is out of the sandbox and in the top 100 of several of it's target keywords. With some initiative, should make top 20 without too much a problem. Maybe better. At this BIN, it's just a little over $12/hour for the work I put into it.
