This article site has been around for over 4 years. It has a real good domain name and is getting traffic from links from other sites that list article directory sites.
Earlier this year the Alexa ranking reached as high as the 50,000s, but I was forced to change the script of the site because of a bad script and out of control spam. I had to get rid of all articles and start over because it wasn't practical to go through the thousands of articles and take out the spam.
So, since the switch traffic has gone down, but in the long run the site will do better without the spam and with a better script.
There are 1800 articles and 467 authors now. You are able to send messages to the authors so you have a growing list of article writers. I have only sent one message so far and that was just to inform the authors of changes. The list is a possible source of income though.
I also added a blog to the site, but haven't posted much yet.
This is a pr1 after recently being a pr0 I think because of the spam. I have recently worked on getting some more backlinks. Right now according to yahoo site explorer it has 93 inlinks. https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/search?p=http://httparticles.com&bwm=i
I have set up this site to automatically add new screened articles every day. It also has a manual approval of new articles from users.
I recently had a $500 offer for this site at sitep***t, but turned it down. I likely would accept it now as I need the money. I don't think it would take too much effort to get the traffic up to where it was or higher.

I also have a PR2 established article site for sale: iArticles(dot)biz. I also recently changed it's script for the same reasons. It has articles automatically added each day. These are screened articles.
