I love when you look up any of these words in an online dictionary and it says:

colour: chiefly British...a variant of color. The queen's english is now a variant of american english.

Ignore the ignorance of the newbies across the big water, they have tainted the Queen's english with their own tarbrush - that aside it is not a very good name and I dumped many similar ones a year ago, 42 single word "English" words in fact.
Welcome to the real world, at least that's what we let our Amcousins think!
