Hey guys !!!
I am new in this type of buisness.I have time to invest and I would like to understand how to begin.I would like to know what I should do at first.Also I would like to know what I can do and what is forbidden.If you have any information that I should know please let me know.I have no domain name right now neither a web site.

Quality over quantity. (It's better to spend $700 on one good domain than 100 hand registrations).

Parking is only short term - development is the best bet.

Stay away from TMs, TM typos etc.

Find a hobby or something you enjoy doing - this way you know what keywords are good in that hobby. Then, look for a domain related to the hobby.

Acquire the domain, get some hosting, throw up a WP blog with a nice template, put some AdSense on it and add an article 1-2 times a week.

That's the (extremely) short and simple.

People write books and books on this stuff, don't waste money on them. Just read forums and news releases.

You'll win some and lose some but as long as you KNOW through the knowledge you gained through reading and learning first, youll turn a profit each time.

Educate yourself before spending any significant sum of money. Take the time to read and understand what is included in the archives of Frank Schilling's blog, hunt down the golden nuggets over in the archives of Rick Schwartz's blog, and of course delve into the dnforum posts.

You may also want to invest in Morgan Linton's book. I've read it - covers all the basics you need to know. But also read blogs, read threads at DNF too.

Everyone said read read read. I second that. Here are some blogs I like:

And you'll discover more blogs with time. The most important thing is recognizing VALUE in a domain. The more you read the more you'll learn. And check DNF as well. There are some really good threads on this forum.

Another thing is lower your expectations. There isn't a direct formula to succeed in the domain space. But if you keep a positive attitude you'll figure out what works for you
