Its been known that they have been trying to apply for these trademarks,
I dunno if they were successful..

however,

on my whois now it shows

video.mobi - premium
music.mobi - premium


did you see it as cingular in the whois an hour ago only?

Let me clarify my previous post. Cingular owns the Service Mark for Music.mobi

Could be a sneaky move to claim a TM violation to whoever gets it in the end, or a done deal with the registry?????

I need to correct myself. In May of last year Cingular applied for the trademarks of Video.mobi and Music.mobi. As of yet they have not been approved. They are tring though.
